Panspermia (from the greek pan meaning "all" and sperma meaning "seed") is the belief that life on our planet Earth came from other planets via comets, asteroids, meteoroids and spacecraft.
Now this isn't what you think. We probably won't see any other intelligent life apart from the life on Earth. It's more likely to be microscopic organisms.
